ISS

ISS

The ISS circles Earth about every 90 minutes, so its crew sees 16 sunrises a day.

The International Space Station (ISS) is a crewed laboratory in low Earth orbit about 400 km up. It is 109 m long with a mass of about 420,000 kg, and since its first module launched in 1998 it has been continuously occupied since November 2000. Traveling at about 8 km per second, it circles Earth roughly every 90 minutes, giving the crew 16 sunrises a day.
